Developers can finally start cashing in on those farting and shopping apps.
Until now, all apps present on the 'store' - accessible only via the T-Mobile G1 so far - have been free.

From tomorrow developers will be able to start charging whatever they like. Users can pay via Google Checkout.

In previous reports Google has suggested that developers in Germany, Austria, Netherlands, France and Spain will be able to offer paid applications within the next few weeks.

At a London workshop held earlier today, T-Mobile and developers emphasised the differences between Android and iPhone - stressing the lack of editorial controls on developers, the ability to charge any cost, openness of the code and the speedy upoading process.

Other factoids divulged include:

* G1 sales are running at 70 per cent of average iPhone sales.
* 15 per cent of G1 users play with their device in the toilet.
* 20 per cent of new T-Mobile subs choose the G1.
* The devices mostly commonly migrated from are the N85 and Vario.
* G1 users spend five times more on data than the average T-Mobile sub
