Lol Hilarious, Good Stuff Good Stuff. If You Didn't Get To Be A Mod The First Time You Asked Then There Is A Good Chance You'll Never Be One ;)

I've always maintained that you should be afraid of anyone who constantly asks to be a mod. ^_^ Anyone who's that intent on themselves clearly can't be good for a community and must be interested in their own power. been there, done it, seen it.

Onto the topic.. yay! With luck, it'll work with eLoader so you can use the browser to download Flash movies (possibly games.. sounds a bit difficult, though) and then play them, but any version would still be an impressive step in the right direction. As per usual, the coders who dedicate their time never cease to impress me.

Although Answering My Own Post, It Is Probably Going To Be Impossibel To Run Games Because You Would Need A Keyboard...Unless This Has A P-Sprint Keyboard...

Actually, the rules for the contest said that the default settings for the Flash Player had to be specific (i.e. D-pad is up down left right, etc.) so I am going to assume that he did that (or else he wouldn't have won). And the contest judges said that it did faithfully play back the example Flash, which was a rule. So we will be able to play games with it.

I guess I will be forced to add a Download For PSP button to all the Flash movies on my site...well, it would still be cool. Now Newgrounds.com doesn't have to convert anymore Flash to video for us lowly peons (I love that word!).

What's P-sprint?

As for the mod requests... People become mods because of their actions. I requested K as a mod becasue hes ethical and he obeys the laws and hes a smart guy.... How the hell I became a mod I dont know.. But If your ment to become one then one day you WILL become one.. Dont ask because thats not going to make any differance.

"Whats P-sprint?"
P-sprint is a little keyboard layout for psp that makes it hella easier and quicker to type stuff. you can see an example of psprint on the psp-news.dcemu.co.uk site somewhere. Also A few apps (that escape me at the moment) use the p-sprint layout.

I doubt this release of a flash player will allow for much interactivity.. If not perhapes if enough people bug the coders enough it will be looked into :)

If you read on the site, all of the PSP's buttons should be configurable to keyboard keys. BRB...I'll get the info.

K, got it.

1. Must only be able to reboot or return to the XMB by pressing a combination of buttons.
2. All keys (including system keys) must be mappable.
3. Default keys must be:
D-pad Up - Up
D-pad Down - Down
D-pad Left - Left
D-pad Right - Right
Cross - Mouse Click
Circle - Enter
Triangle - Delete
Square - Space Bar
Analog Stick - Medium-fast Mouse Movement
L trigger - A
R trigger - S
4. If possible, contains a feature that starts Flash Player application on PSP System Boot. Eh, kind of a stretch. If Team Emergency Exit can get that PSPdualBoot project underway, we might not need this built into the Flash Player.

There. I saved you a trip to the site, and saved them some bandwidth.

Also, I have created an icon for the PBP file. Hopefully he will use it. Below is the flattened PNG. I still have the Fireworks PNG if he wants me to edit it.

Don't you love me?

This looks very interesting indeed. Alot of little Flash games just use a mouse so U/D/L/R/ and 4 controler buttons should be enough for basic command input. (ihopeihopeihope) :D

Pretty exciting stuff. There are so many good flash games and movies that we will now be able to access on our PSPs.

I don't think so. It says it will be released on or around Feb 28, so it's possible that it's later today, but I think they meant on or after Feb 28.
