Shatterdome (http://forums.qj.net/showthread.php?t=38374) has posted a new release of his Helicopter game for the PSP, heres whats new:

"Giving this a new thread because it's going to be my last update for awhile, was going hard at it for the last 2 days and gonna take a break now so to those people that have downloaded this and put it on their psp 3 or 4 times in the last 2 day, sorry dudes Put this one on and enjoy it for awhile, all that I will be changing in the future is error checking and some graphical changes...

Whats new ?!

Added a flying DS that drops bombs on you, add a whole new element to the game and is quite challenging now, along with the crazy speeds you can reach, I think it'll be hard to "finish" this game (ie, get to multiplier 27)"

Alot of improvement from the original version, which is the only one I had downloaded.

You need firmware version 1.50 for this to work directly from the game menu. If you have 2.71 or lower, you can either downgrade to 1.50 or use the TIFF exploit. You should find good guides on both ways on DCEmu somewhere.

I just tried this and it's running damn slow here. When I'm at the main menu it takes ages to choose "New game" and in-game the copter is flying very slow. Does anyone know what's wrong? I have a 1.50 PSP so it shouldn't be compatibility problems.

or u can have a custom firmware. and you can downgrade all the way from 3.03

i have 3.90 m33-3 and i put the Helicopter0[1].8 folder in PSP/GAME and it said Corrupted Data on the PSP

nvm, i installed the 1.50 kernal addon and put the game into the game150 folder and it works, but the game runs SO slow and for some reason the song in the background is super sped up (i wish these were switched).
