Hi,

How stupid am I? I live in the UK and recently bought a Hong Kong PSP with V1.50 firmware in the belief this would be the most versitile machine! I now realise it was a mistake.

PLease can you help me sort the following out.

1. V1.50 is great for homebrew, but I cant seem to get an internet connection with it. I've been to McDinalds where they have a 90% strength BTopenworld WiFi, but I still can' access this. Do you know if I can change settings on my HK V1.5 to access internet or do I need to upgrade to V2.0

2. Do I need a special Hong Kong version of V2.0 upgrade for my PSP 10006, having upgraded to v2.0 will my hong kong machine by able to access uk internet or do I need further mods?

3. If i upgrade to v2.0 can I still run homebrew ( I understand that beyond v2.0 you can't rum hpmebrew eg on V2.1)

4. Can I mod my region 3 UMD to run UK region 2 movies? Any suggestions on the way forward with this.

Thanks for your help.

1. 1.5 doesn't have a web browser unless you use the homebrew ones. Also check if the hotspots are completely open.

3. You can run *most* homebrew on version 2.0 eboot loader and *some* on 2.01 -> 2.6.
