What Are You Playing This Weekend?

GDC is still going strong. Expect our coverage to do the same, as we catch up on all our interviews, previews and session mining. But we're making time to play some games this weekend too.

Personally, I've got a copy of Rhythm Heaven burning a hole in my backpack, ready and waiting to find its way into my Nintendo DS. There are also rumors of review copies of Burn Zombie Burn and Ninja Blade that need some attention. After sitting in on last night's Listen Up podcast for 1UP, the desire to return to Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Left 4 Dead is also building. We'll see which game wins.

Demon's Souls and Crystal Defenders for ps3, Sunday VS Magazine and Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida Or 2 for psp, and if there's any time remaining I'm hoping to get to battle ogre vc wii, silent debuggers wii vc, and / or raiden fighter aces on 360.

Finishing up Dragon Quest III remake, then off to Dragon Quest IV DS. Its weird how owning every DQ game makes me want to do a complete play-through of the series. Better late than never.

Still playing Resistance Retribution, it's like I play the game for two hours and then I leave it for ages haha

Some hacked version of pokemon I found the other day, called Pokemon Xtreme via gpSP, which is really fun cause it comes with all 386 wild pokemon, every ridiculus evolution condition is skipped (trades and stuff), 16 gym leaders, etc.

I been taken it back a little. Just started playing Super Mario World 2 Yoshis Island. Strange I never did play and complete this one. I had the game for years, lost it and then was deep cleaning the other day and it found it in my garage. I'm trying to get 1oo's and currently I'm at stage 1-8 and have 100 on all the others. Fun. I like this game. I'm playing it through my fc twin. I have an original snes too. I have all the classics. I'm sure this will take a little while to get through, especially if I want to get all 100s. Dont know what to play after that. I might just keep jumping mario games. Maybe I'll go Mario 64 after that, than the other ones for 64, gamecube, wii etc etc. Lol!! Wrd.

Me and my girlfriend played on FarCry 1, since it's a nice alternative to her Halo 3 obsession. :P Other than that it was just messing around on Garry's Mod.
