Castaway Emulator

I've had numerous tries with the updated eloader and am getting the following error

error: castaway emulator can only be run from the folder :

ms0: /psp/game/atari_st/

I have the following folders in that folder :-

castaway(v1.0)
CaSTawayPSP
CaSTawayPSP%

The rom is in this root folder (atari_st) so what am I missing ? Any Ideas ?

i tried various combos of file placements, and the best i got was a black screen, a 10 second wait, and a reset of the PSP.

i'm running 2.5 so i kinda expected it. another one to wait for the baton to be picked up methinks.

i got it working by naming a folder ATARI_ST and putting everything in it (eboot,TOS,games) works fine. Had to change the name of TOS.IMG to TOS.ROM (using tos v1.02). Only works on 2.0 though tested it on 2.01+ no joy.

ive tried this on 2.50 psp and it doesnt work, I just get a black screen and then the psp switched off. I tried the 1.0 version and the 1.5 with the eboot in the atari_st folder - could you tell me which version you use?

all the other emulators ive tried have worked no problem

First of all im using castaway v0.05, i placed the eboot, the tos rom and the disc images all in one folder named ATARI_ST. i also left in the two files tosromhere and discshere and the readme file (stcache) in this folder. my psp is 2.0 but i got this working on a mates 2.5 so i'll take another look at it to double check file placements and get back to you.

i think when i tried it i deleted the tosrom.here and the disk.here files.

Which eboot file are you supposed to use as there are 2 in the zip file ?

I used the eboot for v1.0.
and sorry guys i was wrong, put it on my mates psp which is 2.5, but it was 2.0 when i put it on he's since upgraded (WHY???) and it's not working now,
Got a bit mixed up, checked on Fanjita's site and he states that this is working but apparantly not.
