It would be great if someone made a port of the PC88 Japanese computer so we could all play 'Super Mario Brothers Special'. :)

Any takers?

Awesome and my hats off to both of you. I am just now returning to the DC scene after a few years (when it was still quite buggy and infantile). I did a quick search and didn't find any PC 88 emulators.

Great to hear it is being worked on. Thanks to both of you. I look forward to a release.

That's cool to hear, I'm a sucker for non-mainstream systems (in case they have some interesting software, which most have imho.).

Any news on when either of these emulators will be released?

PC88QuasiDC is my port of Quasi88 to Dreamcast.

The emulator is not finished yet, and needs some work on.
I decided to release all what I have done and I invite to everybody to continue with the port ahead. My knowledge is not enough to carry it on. That's because I want to share and put in the hands of others, it's like a way to help in its complete port.

If you need more info, comments or whatever, feel free to post and ask for.

What's Quisi88?

It's an emulator for one of many computer systems that were released only in Japan.

Has anyone continued on this project? I was finally able to get a PC 88 emulator working correctly with Super Mario Bros. Special and I love it. I would sooo love to play it on the dreamcast though. This is truly the lost levels of Super Mario.
