Ds, R4, Rom

So I found this DS homebrew application, I haven't got homebrew on my DS but I've got that R4 cartridge and I'm wondering whether I could put the ROM onto the R4 cartridge. I would just put it on but I'm not certain what I would do to my DS, with it being ROM for DS homebrew
