Sega Saturn Power Supply PAL (V2) -> JP (V1) Console?

Hey togehter,

Last week I bought an Japanese Saturn Console (V1) and the power supply is damage, so I have buy a PAL Saturn Console (V2) because I want to exchange the power supply to put it in my Japanese Console.

Now my question: Is it possible to use a power supply from a V2 Console for a V1 Console? A Buddy has say that only V1 to V1 or V2 to V2 is possible...

I have check on ebay, that someone sells a V1 Console with the same Modelnumber from the V2 Console... can I use the V2 power supply for my V1 japanese Saturn?

I will ask before I exchange it and the second Console is damage too.
