Carmex (http://ds.crmx.us/dsmerlin/index.html) has released a new app for the DS thats a handwriting recognition program, heres the info:

It should be fairly easy to incorporate into other homebrew projects such as notepads, calendars, IM software, etc. Anywhere data entry is needed, DSMerlin can provide an alternative to the standard on-screen keyboards. </blockquote>
