DSweb build 0.02c

Dawn2k (http://teamnnc.free.fr/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=562) has released an early web browser for the Nintendo DS, heres the info:

Simply copy the DSweb.nds or the DSweb.sc.nds file to your flashcard.
If you found any bug, not mentioned in the list please report it to
[email protected]

known bugs:
-checkboxes do not work
-backlight is a little buggy, but that is not my fault, maybe mollusk
is able to fix it
-adress on topscreen is not resetted if you press the enter button
-strlen is not resetted too

things that do not work yet:
-wifi
-html/php/java/shtml...
-sound
-disabling touchscreen(mouse)pointer
-add favorites
-view help

things that are new
-touchscreen(mouse)pointer

works fine, my ds rebooted after the app normaly. its safe, not a bricker.

how do you click enter? i click return and it clears the box but dont go anywhere

on a side note .. xlink kai (www.teamxlink.co.uk) is coming out with a new version (xlink :: one) in the near future and this version is a webserver , so when this browser comes along its possible that the DS can have its own kai UI! ..

Looks good but I hope the Opera Browser will be better.

me too, but details on opera and euro/us release dates etc are not exactly abundant or concrete at the moment,so dont hold your breaths!!

that opera for ds is out i have see juni at japan or us eu is during longer ( dunno why if it is english .. )

what i hopped that goes on the opera

Some cache at the game card it self
so ppl with stuff like m3 perfect cf/sd
Supercard stuff ...
just need some more space to do it if opera is somthing like 2mb - 10mb

if u got it al i think 40mb for the game
Btw trimming the rom is not a good idea , why ?

Sorry but i must ask this: Is dsweb vaporware? I think that this is only a GUI. Real coders starts coding, no creating graphic enviroment.

if you want a working browser, use the actual browser or use the one in ds linux
