I noticed the search function works weird , when you click the icon you can do search using google and search in tags .
But you can only acces the classic menu by opening it in a new window. This is very confusing, took me some time to realise what happened .Can you fix this ?

The problem seems the be that the "advanced search " link does not lead to where it should , goes to http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/tags/index.php?do=searchtags instead of http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/search.php

The staff are busy, so be patient.

Oh, and double posting is against the site rules.

That is possibly because you were impatient, plus there is nothing wrong with the search.

Please stop posting how long you think the search isn't working, it is working fine now. I have no troubles with using the SEARCH (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/search.php) here on DCEmu.

Maybe if you were more specific, and looked what you were doing you would find that there is nothing wrong. Just a lack of effort on your part, to type correctly and select which forum sections to search.

You don't seem to understand :
When you click the SEARCH button , you get 3 options :
-Search Google
-Search Tags
-Advanced Search

Under advanced search in the upper left , you should have the option to "Search Entire Post" or " Search titles only " . But when you click "Advanced Search " it leads to "Search Tags" instead , where you don't have these options . So, it's a matter of wrong link .
You will only get the advanced menu if you right click the word SEARCH and open in new tab or window .

I have noticed the problem myself, I'll see if I can get an soneone to look into and hopefully fix the search function. Remember, if there's a problem with any aspect of the board, then please, send a PM to a member of the staff, preferably to ones of the admin team.
