I've been searching around google and such, and everything I find for a PSX emulator on DC is at least a few years old and was wondering if there was any more recent releases or news on one.

Thanks

There have been no new developments in that area for a few years, emulation is up to full speed on certain games but only one minor step back is that there is no sound.

bleemcast was good, but its discontinued and was for 3 select games :'(

but surprises me the speed obtained in PSX games suck in comparison to SNES Emulation :(,

Chui was working on PSX4ALL but it feels like there is no news posts from him until Retro Madrid :( one can assume its halted or on hiatus ...

Well, to be fair, the 3 commercial releases of Bleem!cast aren't good, they're excellent.

The leaked Bleemcast beta is really the only playable PSX emulator for DC.

As for PSX4ALL, dont expect to see it anytime soon.
Chui posted in another forum, that due to how complicated emulating 3d hardware is, IF he gets time to make this emulator, it will be his LAST project on Dreamcast.
So, all we can do is hope:thumbup:
