I NEED HELP!!! im new to this and i need help on.... how do the emulators work and what exactly do they do? where do i get games for them? and finally how do i play games? please help me someone thanks

Emulators are software's for the PSP that allow u 2 play old skool games such as mega drive games and gameboy on your PSP.
Wat firmware verson PSP u got?

i have firmware 2.6 and i have the gta thing but i cant get games to work or anything... but i may not be doing it right....

GTA is the only way to use any kind of homebrew on 2.6. Don't got it then u might as well take a taxi to the sun and try to get a cold.
