Do you like free roaming racing games?

It's just that I really can't stand them

I got Burnout paradise the other day only to discover it had been converted into a free roaming racer.

Seriously, How is it fun that you're miles away from the race you want to retry because you just lost it?

And the most annoying part, there are no tracks whatsoever, you have to check the map every 3 seconds so you can go on the right direction, Is this fun to anyone??

I really prefer the ones where they have a menu for the tracks and you just race them, without having to worry about nothing else.

I think I'm gonna get me the enhanced 360 version of Burnout Revenge, which IMO is the best racing game ever made, everything else on the burnout series is all downhill from there

i thought it was an amazing game, tho i have to agree with you, going back to the beginning point of a race because you lost is very annoying.

I don't like that either, but I hope with Gran Turismo 5 (http://www.onlinegames-free.co.uk/category_jump_run.html) there will be a racing game that is worth buying for me.
