The GD-rom cable on my very first DC has been broken for a while now and I was hoping one of you could point me where to look for a new one.

Im sure there are no stores selling them and I dont have another broke dc so I have been canabalizing older electronics to find a match.

All the CD-Roms and CD Players I have seen have cables that wouldnt work and I have been staring at my mothers printer cause it has a huge ribbon that would work perfect but she would be pissed when she when to print something.

Anyways what other common electronics have a ribbon cable that could be used?

Yesm, any ribbon can serve you, you can find it in stores where bandage replacements for or repair teams electronicos [as discman]

If you go to some store, forget not to carry the original ribbon only to verify; -)

The ribbon has (if do not badly I remember) 18 lines

see ya --sorry by the bad english xD --
