I only care mostly about running one game and that is it! I understand this emu atm is far from running it but I would like you to look into it if and whenever you can PSMonkey =). Thanks a lot and good luck with your programming.

Think Contra + Star Fox 64 gfx and addictive gameplay and you have Sin and Punishment, for those who have not played it.

The ROM is 256mbit unfortunately. :( What you think the chances are of bigger ROM support in the future?

For those looking for the Sin & Punishment ROM, it's a Japanese game -

Tsumi to Batsu - Chikyuu no Keishousha (J) [!] - And it doesn't work. ;)

Thanks $n!pR. Funny, thinking that for how big those cartridges were, they could rarely hold more than the memory stick packed in with a psp. Oh, how technology advances...

Youre forgetting that a megabyte isnt 1000kb its 1024kb. 65,536/1024 = 64MB.
And if you crack open a 64 carterage the chips inside arnt that big (but by the same token the memory chip in a MS is about half the size of the casing.

Umm.. Never knowed that. I just thought that windows rounded the file size :) And it's the same thing with Atari 2600 carts. The chip in side is about 1/8 the size of the case.

Data inside N64 cartridges must be compressed in some way...

Not really. Its much like gba or nes games. Some do compress but its not the norm.

Actualy the only n64 game known to have serious compression was RE2 which had to write new ways to complres art to make it fit.

when you notice that the actual chip in the 2gb stick is about half the size of the stick then you really are amazed
