Yes, PSX4ALL is planning stage and maybe it will be the definitive emulator for Dreamcast and GP2X.

But i repeat ... planning stage.

YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!!!!!!!

If i could send you a six pack of this rasberrry Ale i got, i'd do so in a heartbeat.

... but then i'd have to send like... a keg or 2 for the whole dciberia team.... U guys are heroes, hi-fives to all.
I also am curious, what is the current speed/ state of zx4all, and also, how does it compare to speccyalK? that one and i just didn't work well together.

...

ZX4ALL runs fullspeed with sound, but only it loads .Z80 snapshot.

Really, ZX4ALL is a project for debugging FAZE Z80 core.

Excellent news, like usual !!

All this emulators include the new version of fame.
What about the next version of Raze (Z80 emulator)? Is fox68k still working on it ?
Are u planning to include it too?

thanks again for your hard work!

chui
March 13th, 2006, 13:29
Fox68k and me are working on FAZE, but today FAZE is early stage and it is unstable. If you see source code, FAZE and RAZE are included. We try to build a ZX4ALL only for debugging with 2 cores running for compare.

any chance of 128k emulation for the speccy?

Also for UAE4all any chance of having option for 1mb memory as well as 512k?

THANK YOU CHUI AND FOX68!!!!!!!
The emu uae4all is incredible, the compatibility is fantastic!!!!
However i see wich for this games there are same problems

WRATH OF THE DEMON (the player is invisible, and you can't to be hurt)
STARUSH (same problem of wrath of the demon)
LEANDER (same problem)
UNREAL (DON'T WORK)
(I have tried more versions of this games)

................................................
UNPLAYABLE GAMES

RISKY WOODS
BRIAN THE LION (bug when you touch an enemy crash the graphic, or dead)
JIM POWER

----------------------------------
these games don't work to me, but if someone have tried and work, can tell me?
SUPERCARS 2
LOTUS 2
LAST NINJA 3
thank you ^_^

P.S. MORTAL KOMBAT is incredible, but the nature of multiload kill the playable.
i think wich the beat em up are unplayable for multiload, also in WINUAE for PC hate the multiload.

March 13th, 2006, 16:20
Darkgate, test changing throttle when you have a error, Jim Power and Risky Woods works without throttle, it is slow with sound but works.

Ops! boys i don't understand if i can save the games, for example for play to DUNE.
tHANK YOU!!!

chui
March 14th, 2006, 09:27
Yes, Darkgate, your disk-changes are stored to VMU. You only must use UAE4ALL like a Amiga, so when you save your game-state on DUNE2, UAE4ALL store this on VMU.

And Lotus2 works very fine, but maybe you need a correct disk image for UAE, a lot of Amiga disk images don't work with UAE, i think because some anti-piracy protections and dirty cracks are very dificult to emulate. Btw, there are a lot of disk images for each game.

DARKGATE
March 14th, 2006, 09:31
And Lotus2 works very fine.

God i have tried more versions, i am unlucky(chui i send you a PM)

chui

Download TOSEC Amiga compilation and try all disk images of Lotus2.

That's great, I didn't expect all of these projects to get an update. Save disk feature should be really cool.
As for future projects, I'd personally like to see more done in the directions of MAME4all than PSX4all, it just seems to me it's more promising with the cores available and the results in Neo-Geo emulation. Maybe the CPS1 stuff could be tackled with good results.

Great work Chui and Fox on the new releases and good luck on your new projects. I cant deny though that i was a little disappointed you guys didnt think that a NEC PC Engine emulator was worth your efforts. That system is sorely in need of a DECENT emulator, and I'm afraid you guys are the only ones that can do it right (CD, system card, and SGFX support /w/ sound). Seems like that will be the only 8 bit system to not see a quality emulator in the DC scene. Sad...

Still I look forward to seeing PSX4ALL and SNES4ALL in action. You guys kick serious @$$!

quzar is working on pc engine emu, me thinks

soldierblade2k5
March 14th, 2006, 19:58
As you know, Quzar released what can only be considered a pre-alpha port of HU-GO!, an open source emulator for windows, linux and various other PC platforms. Last I heard, he said the SDL source code was a mess, and he was diverting all his efforts into NeoCD. That said, when was the last time we saw anything from that project? I'm not a betting man, but I'd bet the farm that DC HU-GO! is a dead project.

SNES4all- Some games run as fast as they do on dreamsnes

BIG PROBLEM- Please fix X and Y on the controller! They are wrongly input.

March 15th, 2006, 06:34
I believe in quzar, i believe in his projects. i believe that we need to be more patient and enjoy the stuff we got, and if we need to play "better", emus than do so on other platforms and respect quzar. He is a programmer, coder, and porter, he needs time, appreciation, care, and respect. just like how we should try to treat one another on this planet, life's too short for negatives. ... Take a look at the DCastaway, UAE4All, NEO4ALL... etc... it takes time... yes... its been a year or whatever, but, please, let't all get along. Play a windows PCengine emu if you need one. or xbox.

How do you put a disc in df1 for on UAE? IT only says eject?

chui
March 15th, 2006, 09:38
http://chui.dcemu.co.uk/uae4all.html :

....

- 2 floppy drives emulted
You can choose on filemanager a new disk for DF0 with A button and a new disk for DF1 with Y button. Also, you can eject DF1 with 'Eject DF1' menu option.

.....

qatmix
March 15th, 2006, 09:52
thanks, its the using y for disc 1 that was not clear :)

can you maybe make it so that df0 and df1 bring up the file requester and you can eject them sperately etc?

Congrats on these releases. I have only tested Neo AES so far the speeds are alot more accurate then the last release. The only problem i find is when i'm the character select screen for SVC Chaos is that the start button for selecting a character isnt so accurate its either that or the load times are still causing a problem for that game.

Ok, sure. Maybe sometime in 2010, but no rush...

Play a windows PCengine emu if you need one. or xbox.

Whats the name of this site again? I have magic engine for windows. Works well, but its not the same. And I have no interest in owning an xbox.

It would be nice to only have to own a DC to play all my console games. It sure would cut down on all the wires and controllers.

In this preliminary release just does load Z80 & SNA. But TZX will be also supported, as you can see in the source is implemented.
