Anyone know if anyone has attempted to get this to run on an emulator for dreamcast? I havent seen anything

The best arcade emulator for the DC is undoubtedly "MAME4all": http://chui.dcemu.co.uk/mame4all.html

It's basically a modified version of MAME .035, but the first MAME to support any version of X-Men (http://maws.mameworld.info/maws/romset/xmen2p) was MAME .036 beta9.

So your answer is no, sorry.
