A question about the hamebrew channel

Hello, I rented the game Mad World from a video store and I need to update my console to play it. The thing is that I have the homebrew channel and I was wondering if the update will brick my wii because of it.

Answer: NO!

Nothing to the update will brick your console, I've updated and downgraded my console many times and so far I've not had any troubles.

I would recommend you using Waninkoko's 4.0 Upgrader if you are upgrading, it keeps the Homebrew Channel and gives you the Shop Channel. By far the best option. :cool:
