http://videogameimports.com/ In the top left select hardware then for search format select dreamcast and search for mod.
http://www.lik-sang.com/ sells premodded dreamcasts.

I don't know how much, but there's a guy at DCemulation's message boards that's selling them. He might be sold out cause I know they sell like crazy, so you better hurry if you want one. I believe it was in the Dreamcast Discussion forum over there.

Had my Dreamcast repaired by http://www.psprepair.ad-leisure.com and
i am sure they do the mod chip installation.
I sent mine to them and had it back within 3 days, give them a ring on the number on the web site.

Soldering is very easy - and the fact the Dreamcast mod chip only needs 4 wires soldered, that makes it that more easier.

I just bought a modchip from that guy at dcemulation. I figured i should jump at it since i'm not sure wether videogameimports.com ships to the USA and i read of one person that ordered from that site and didn't get an instruction sheet and that guy from dcemulation does include an instruction sheet. http://www.dcemulation.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=80087

I modded my PAL DC with the chip supplied from videogameimports.com. The chip arrives with four wires already attached, stripped back and tinned.
I used this guide to install it:
dreamcast modchip installation guide (http://www.modchipstore.com/Dreamcast-Installation-Directions-14.html)
It is a very easy mod. Even for someone like me who suffers from the permanent shakes!
Good luck.

will homebrew still work on the dc?
At boob.co.uk i read that a modchip will allow you swap discs while using GypPlay. Could someone with a modchip installed confirm this?
