http://pingus.seul.org/

An Open Source SDL game which is a clone of lemmings but instead of using lemmings its penguins.

Requires a few libraries that are not ported to the PSP.

Aleph One - http://source.bungie.org/

Its been a while since i have played marathon but if something like this could be ported it would be awesome. Only problems i can foresee is that it requires SDLNet

Thanks Folks

-or- for lemmings you can get an emulator and play it that way.

Lemmings is too slow via emulator.

I would rather a newer looking game anyway

I looked seriously into pingus in February. There are two points of consideration:

- it is an 800x600 game (wouldn't fit on the screen with the existing art assets at full size).

- porting clanlib, etc (the dependencies) is quite intimidating. What I determined is that it'd be quicker to make a from scratch version that uses the existing image assets, and level designs (in XML) and sounds/music.

- Lemmings for PSP is out on UMD in a month.

All told I may pick up Pingus again later, because I have a soft spot for Lemmings type games.
