Imports on PSP

Hi! I just got a psp so i dont know jack yet. Can I play imports on them? Or do i need to mod it like you do with a console? If so where can I go to find out how? I've been searching in google and in ths web site and havent come up with anything yet.

Import games, yes - all play the same. Import movies must be the same region e.g If you bought a JAP psp, you can play region 2 (UK, JAP etc) if you bought a USA PSP, the it's region 1 and so on.

Yeah both the DS and PSP play Games from any region whatsoever :)

i bought a used psp 2.6 and it played region 1 2 games/movies. although it looks like some resoldering was done to the umd drive.
