The Canadian team at Cyanide has created iSurf, which is the company's first title for iPhone and iPod Touch.
iSurf lets iPhone users try surfing, and makes use of the devices accelerometers and touchscreen to offer what promises to be a pick up and play experience. Featuring increasingly challenging waves and over 40 maneuvers, the game includes a range of unlockables, and is available now for £1.79 on the iTunes store.
"The iPhone is a very interesting platform, given its sleek design without buttons or pads, unlike other hardware. This motivated our game designer in the same way as did the Wii," declared Fabrice Granger, COO of Cyanide Montréal.
"The decision to develop a game for the iPhone is a natural step for Cyanide, which has been broadening its target hardware platforms over the past couple of years. Moreover, the App Store is a very attractive distribution channel for developers, even if it is difficult to gain visibility," added Granger.

Headquartered in Paris, Cyanide's studios have created popular titles on various formats including Blood Bowl, Pro Cycling Manager: Tour de France, Dungeon Party, Loki, Chaos League and others.
