A new Home space based on Sony's quiz game franchise, Buzz, will be launched "shortly" in US and Europe.
The new space, called Buzz HQ, will allow players to participate in 64-player quizzes and win prizes.
Also launching today on Home today is a new Studio space. Here's the official word:
"Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) is pleased to announce the coming launch of Buzz! HQ and Studio spaces exclusive to PlayStation Home via PlayStation Network on PlayStation 3 (PS3). Play quizzes, socialise, and win prizes - when you visit PlayStation Home's exciting new interactive spaces, launching very shortly for users in Europe and North America.
"It's time to prove you're the most knowledgeable person in PlayStation Home by visiting the Buzz! HQ lobby. Chat to the Buzz! community or size-up your fellow opponents before you enter the giant Buzz! Studio for a quiz game like no other!
"Enter the space to play a series of quizzes written by Buzz! fans across the world (you can select to play in English, French, Spanish, Italian or German).
"You pick your answer by running onto the correct coloured button of a giant buzzer! Want to see your very own quiz played in the Buzz! Studio? Simply write up your questions and answers and upload them to www.MyBuzzQuiz.com.
"It's easy to access Buzz! HQ - just enter PlayStation Home, bring up the World Map and select the Buzz! icon."
