DCEmu Member and Coder SimonKagstrom (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=2148220878) has today released a new version of UAE the Amiga Emulator for the Nintendo Wii, heres the release details:

UAE is a famous Amiga emulator ported to the Wii. UAE Wii can be found on googlecode at uae-wii.googlecode.com, and is based on the source code of E-UAE. It allows you to play Stunt car racer, Turrican, Midwinter and the other good old Amiga games on your Wii. The port uses SDL Wii.

You can read about the current status on my blog. Interested developers should mail me at [email protected] and I'll give you commit access to the googlecode repository.

Changelog
Version 2
Allow configuring most important options from the menu (Amiga models etc)
Fix Nunchuk/Classic controller conflict
Add virtual keyboard to set keyboard-to-controller-button bindings
Store configuration when modified in the menu and allow uaerc.user to override the configuration
Saving and restoring states now work
Harddisk support is now built in, but works so-so (and has no menu support)
Hundreds of small fixes here and there

Nice, ;).

Good job simon.

@Wraggster, UAEWii has indeed helped PSPUAE, we now have AGA support, :). Just got to get the reset loop fixed on HDD, ;).

I could not get the last version to stop going back to the HB channel, and I'm having the same issue with this one. I've got kick.rom where it should be, along with a few ADF's but I've yet to get this to run. :/

Nice work simon works very well now. Just needs fine tuning as the frameskip does show a little on scrolling games and if I remove it the sound is distorted.

Does it include zip support ?
