The modder Flasheur provided the site known PSPGEN.com (http://www.pspgen.com/ta-90-v3-nouvelle-carte-mere-psp-3000-actualite-187816.html) several photos and a video of what it believes could be a new mainboard revision of the PSP-3000: the TA-090 v3. More details in full.

Photos and Videos of TA-090v3:

Quote:

As reported on PSPGEN, this motherboard has been "discovered" by chance by disassembling Flasheur a console to change it (modding) and that gave them the pictures and a video that shows the mainboard in question. It could be therefore a new hardware revision, even if at present we do not know any details other than the presence of the number "2" printed on the PCB circled instead of the number "1" on the TA-090v2. In any event, as well as for those not hackabili of PSP (TA-088v3/TA-090v2), you can not install it permanently on a Custom Firmware NAND.

The mainboard of the PSP-3000

• TA-090 v2: First model of mainboard fitted as standard on PSP-3000. Does not allow to install any custom firmware on his NAND. For the moment there is only the Custom Firmware 5.02HEN-A PSPGEN (Gripshift Exploit) but for reasons known can not be issued. Neither The Custom Firmware Enabler is currently compatible but could be in the next few days if you manage to patch the necessary forms.

• TA-090 v3 (???): New model discovered by Flasheur who provided the photos and video. No one knows what the new features except the different number printed on the PCB. The hardware restrictions that inhibit the installation of a Custom Firmware remain the same as the TA-090v2.

It would be interesting to start the PSPident 0.4 through chickHEN to see if indeed there are substantial differences between the values for the Tachyon, Pommel and baryon (ndG).

oh wow as a community we have reverse engineered to the point that every thing they have given us has been broken. the battle for money is holding back proper operation of the system, were desining games and applications as a peer group, and being threatend by a corperate conglomerate that is intentionaly holding us back. if only they would work with us and not against us. we could all prosper. but no they have to spend all there time trying to sabatoge us in our exploit for featuers that should be included, and games that are too trumped up then suck. every one buys the good ones on hard disk eventually. the harder they fight against us, the more our tallent and potential is revealed.
