Yeah i know most of you dislike off topic news but today someone called xexter has released the worlds first emulator for the Xbox 360 and it works via the Media Centre, now this means we dont have to bother with Modchips (at least for this release)

lol nice devlopment but i really hope nobody uses a console like the xbox 360 for some 8bit games from the 80s-90s.

i hope microsoft doesnt become a$ses and update media center on the 360 and make this not work anymore cause its not like its hurting them.

i figured make the pc do the emulating like the project 64 emulator and just find a way to stream it to media center and thats it .... lol i can only dream lol

umm ever hear of ghost recon and little game called one of the best rpgs of all time called oblivion this week rumble rose fry cry thers lots for my 360 to do

I got my 360 in the rush of its release, faintly remembering only for a seconed,
im not really an x-box fan.
It was an impulse purchase that I regret.

Its not to say the games on the 360 arnt good. im just a nintendo/sony person :p

I say woot to you, for this is a major breakthrough. This is what the people have been waiting for. Who knows, maybe someday they'll be able to play snes games?!

Might as well just hook up a PC to your TV for emulators,
in fact maybe for current games too.

Just what advantage does a 360 offer over a PC?

wow... the xbox is $400 and not portable i dont see the purpose... the dreamcast made sense because it was easier and cheaper... but an xbox... i mean it connects to the tv i can think of a better emulator for the tv with almost 100% compatibility... a nintendo entertainment system...

talking alot of doo doo about the 360 when the ps3 will be the same cr&p when it comes out trust me ... well at least shadow prophet admits he is a sony fan so its excuseable ... just to say im neutral i probably buy all the consoles and i love my psp but of course i love it for its non sony things it does looll
