In case you missed it yesterday, video of Sony's PS3 motion controller prototype has made its way to YouTube. It's not an ordinary Wiimote, it's not as mind blowing as Microsoft's Natal, it's, well... it's something in between. And it's not available until 2010 so this is as close as you'll get for awhile.

Natal is not mind blowing, at least for me. It's eye toy with better software. It's old technology (heres (http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2009/06/03/e3-interview-cuddle-up-with-eyepet/) an example of what sony is already doing with the eye). Sony could use the PS3 eye (which they have already done a lot for), write better software, and do the same thing as Natal. This motion controller looks to be much more accurate than Wii motion plus and Natal. True 1 to 1 accuracy. For serious gaming, this motion controller will be the only choice. For casual, Wii will still reign supreme. Once again 360 goes for that middle ground. I think all three options will work but with different audiences each. For me, this demo was the most exciting thing at the show by far.

I watch the conference live.

When they was playing this this, I had my dick out.

I'm not into stuff like this, but wow.

Is it just me or does it look like one of those suckers with a motor where you push a button and it rotates the sucker for you?
