Great news. It's a great homebrew otherwise, but the performance was never great, even for simple Doom/Doom 2 maps. I really hope to see at least a reliable 20+fps

sounds awesome.
but i hope they do something about the multiplayer.
the current mulitplayer is really unreliable.

I wonder if WiiDOOM is going to continue now...

...since we can still hack our wii's.

Both are based on PrBOOM, and both could in theory network with one another...

Wow ! A crossplatform Doom multiplayer could be awesome.

But what I'll deeply love would be a Strife compatibility of DSdoom.

About fps performances, I managed to play DSheretic and I'm impressed by the quality of the port, which is quite old : very good framerate (except with map on), precise stylus control.

Hope DSdoom's future is full of good news... Keep up the good work men !

That, as it stands, would require a port of ZDOOM which I think is too much beef for the DS, though it is on the GP32 or Wiz or what ever it is called and could very well be ported to the Wii, and I hope it gets ported too! Strife is a great game!!!
