I can confirm that this works.

I have a psp 2000 with the v3 motherboard.

Previously, I had the same problem that others had-- when I attempted to reboot into the CF, the screen went black and the system crashed (when I started up again, I was in 5.03 OF).

This latest version works!!!

Anyone confirm the 3000?
I am thinking of getting a new 3000, but with out any new non-sports USA games I am going to have to rely on homebrew to make the purchase worth it.

Will this work on PSP 2000 with 5.02 GEN-A CFW installed? (Meaning the PSP 2000 I have is compatible with older custom firmware).

This worked on my PSP 3000 with the 5.03 Firmware using ChickHEN R2 perfectly. If you are going to buy a PSP 3000 buy one soon and hope it does not already have 5.50 firmware pre-loaded.

I have some questions. In the readme, it says

"REMEMBER! THIS APP DONT TOUCH ANY FILE FROM THE ORIGINAL FIRMWARE! IS YOUR FAULT IF YOU LATER CONNECT TO THE FLASH0 AND TOUCH SOME OFFICIAL FILE AND YOU HAVE A BRICK!"

But this CFW by default has an M33-update feature. Won't using that update affect the flash0? Has anyone tried using this? (I am referring to the ramifications of doing this to a 2000/3000 with them new-fangled motherboards)

"When you installed the custom firmware in your flash you can remove the "files" folder in the MS ROOT.
For your own safety, is better that you rename or erase the prx called "flasher.prx" in the MAIN APP folder to
avoid wrong flash times."

When I remove all this and shutdown the psp fully and ran chickhen then the installer loader it says that the files folder wasn't found then It aborts.

So should I keep this files or remove it?
