Hello ewery1. i just went to local electronics shop and saw... A blank umd?? i didnt had money or psp umd to campare em is it real but tomorow... well i ve made a photo with my cellphone so have a look. it even has a metal in its center to... well u know psp holds umd in center with magnet...

doesnt look like it has the plastic case that PSP UMDs do

Ok, I am going to confirm that the blank media in the picture is infact a blank MiniDisc (which were obsolete from the very day they were produced)...

Then comparing the size of a UMD to a MD, you can clearly see the disc inside the UMD is more than a fraction smaller (65mm to the UMD's 58mm disc).

Thankfully I kept that junk, even though it ceases to function. :cool:

BetaMax = dead on arrival, almost (got 1 when i was a kid)
MiniDisc = destroyed after mp3 introduced (too exp anyway that time)
UMD = soon will be killed by PSP Go go gadjet PSP Go! \Stay tuned!

i agree
me and my cousin both had one
and we shared our MD "albums"

They weren't bad, though in 2001 when I purchased mine MP3 was already in the marketplace and MiniDisc had very little chance to go about it's short life.

I was still using MiniDisc into 2005, but then MP3 finally pulled me away leaving my 40+ MiniDisc's to a 5GB ZEN Micro (which I'm now using as pocket memory). :cool:
