I suppose really only the Xbox gives even a fair crack at Nintendo 64 emulation although the PSP is getting a better attempt at N64.

I totally agree with ya wraggy but i wonder how the pandora will fare in emulating the n64 when it comes out

I never really got it working with my xbox, but PSP was pretty good.

Xbox is the only one that's even close to playable, and as much as we all like to believe it will the Psp is unlikely to improve much over what it does now.

someone please hack the ps3 or 360 so we can get some decent n64 emulation on consoles.

XBox by far. If Daedalus makes some single-game emulators for some of the more complex games, then those might play better than on the XBox.

original xbox, original xbox, it plays almost every game at perfect speeds, supports save states, 4 controllers, and even rumble. i just got done playing banjo kazooie at perfect framerate and sound. take that xbox live arcade!!

Not a console, but nice try. Xbox is the only way to go if you want it to be playable really. PC, is the only viable option otherwise right now. I'd love if the PSP could reach a rather playable level, it would be the perfect console to have N64 on.

NeoXCS is right by far Xbox is the best for N64 Emulation. I find it funny though with the PC version as now a days yes its playable on the PC but back when the Xbox was going people stopped working on N64 emulators and the N64 emulator that was being worked on was the Xbox version and that was the only playable one. I never really tried the PSP version but if you'd think it wont work it probably wont work. Not that it doesnt attempt to and or it plays at playable a fps but i know there has to be some small problems playing it on that machine.

Actually Nintendo Wii.
It doesn't really have n64 compatibility but Nintendo made a Nintendo 64 emulator for the Nintendo Wii that's the reason that your Nintendo 64 games from the Wii store have a higher resolution than the original copies on the Nintendo 64.

xbox is the only non pc thing ive seen to date that comes close (but i havent seen the wii do it)

boot up mario kart 64 on the xbox, plug in 4 controllers, play a few rounds of battle and i challenge you to show me a better system for n64 emulation.

now if only they could get blast corps to work... :(

i'd love a handheld system dedicated to the n64 but i also want a console for all the multiplayer games.
i'm sure it isn't too far down the line...i mean 8 gigs will hold the entire n64 library how sweet would that be.
