Today I took advantage of a little free time available and will bring a "quick & dirty" port (port done quickly and in a short time) of a retro classic that is more than one sound: D
Yar's Revenge is a quick port of the classic Atari game 2600/VCS created by Howard Scott Warshaw. Is defined as a shoot-em-up abstract, and the remake uses the SDL library.
Author: Paul Robson (who behave like other games and 3D Deathchase, TrailBlazer or Foosball)
License: GPL v2
The goal of the game is to destroy the gun protected by a shield. Our ship must be firing in the shield to open the hollow barrel. The bad thing is that we will be firing cannon:)
Besides the cannon, there is another enemy that is the missile that we will pursue. If we are in the neutral zone, the missile can not kill us but we can not shoot.
The control is easy: D-pad to move the ship and with the shooting.
