Nintendo's website for the DS software entitled "The Original 'POINT-AND-SPEAK' Phrasebook launched today. The software includes information and translations for five countries that use five different languages. Those countries are Thailand, China, South Korea, the United States, and Germany. All destinations will be sold seperately but will use the same core software.

Some of the software's cool functionality include a translation phrase book, audio which pronunciates words in the new language, the ability to draw on maps, and a conversation helper that contains illustrations of common social scenes and useful phrases to use in those situations. The website even helps travelers out with common questions like what power adapters to use.

Looking at the English verions website you can clearly see all the base functionality the program has from the screens. There are sections for Arriving in the USA, Aiport to Hotel, Money & Tipping, At the Hotel, American English, Everyday Phrases, Daily Greetings, and a calculator. The example English conversations are kind of funny considering some talk about the Seattle Mariners which is owned by Nintendo.
