noob question

Sry if this sounds like a dumb question but I've just brought myself a v1.5 jap psp after a mate advised that, if i buy a new game thats just been released from the shop will it play alright without me upgrading the firmware?

sorry but as far as I know there is little chance of very new games running as they probably require 2.60 firmware which hasn't been decryted yet, however 2.0 - 2.5 firmware games should be able to run using either the MPH GAME LOADER or RUN UMD though some games are incompatble. Search them and search the forums for which games require updates as generally it depends on the developer.

anyway if you have only just got a 1.5 psp and it is your first then there is so much homebrew available there is no need for commercial games
