I understand if you’re burnt out on Dragon Ball games. Dragon Ball games are like the Madden of anime games, but give Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo a chance. The 2D side scroller nails the feel of the anime and it’s the most refreshing title with the Dragon Ball license in years. One boss battle I played reminded me of Klonoa. I ran in a circle while pile driving robots to freeze the boss.
Since it’s a Dragon Ball game you know there has to be a versus mode too. In Revenge of King Piccolo’s two player fighting mode players can pick characters other than Goku.
Namco Bandai will publish Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo in Japan this summer and in North America during the fall. The international version uses Japanese voice acting for the cutscenes.
