hi all new here and to this whole thing but i has just purchased the R4 for my DSi and it wont work....any ideas or am i totally screwed? thanks

An R4 will not work on a DSi. Neither will the CycloDS Evolution, Acekard 2, or ANY OTHER CART that has not been specifically made to work with the DSi.
