We're obviously not playing World of Warcraft enough. Despite our excitement over Blizzard's inclusion of weather effects in the 1.10 update for its MMORPG, we've yet to witness it in action. We've been dutifully hanging around Elwynn Forest waiting for a storm to brew up, but so far, zippo. Maybe if we start beating on drums and perform an arm-flailing rain dance, something will happen. We'll give it a try, and if Azeroth is suddenly swamped by a flood of Biblical proportions, you'll know who to blame.
Anyway, we'll stop waffling now and get to the point: Blizzard has provided first details on the forthcoming 1.11 patch for WoW. What's really only a sneak peek at plans for the update reminds us that it's the Mage that's the World of Warcraft character class receiving an overhaul this time around, talents undergoing a revamp and the developer looking at improvements which "include easing a mage's downtime between fights and opening some new, interesting talent builds through changes to all the mage's talent trees." Wizard.

It's a 40-man raid dungeon that will apparently present even the most experienced and powerful players with an epic challenge: "Floating above the Plaguelands, the necropolis known as Naxxramas serves as the seat of one of the Lich King's most powerful officers, the dreaded lich Kel'Thuzad. Horrors of the past and new terrors yet to be unleashed are gathering inside the necropolis as the Lich King's servants prepare their assault. Soon the Scourge will march again..."
