The latest version of iPhone development platform Tapjoy includes analytics software from Pinch Media.
Tapjoy's SDK is used by iPhone games and app developers to include community features in their apps, as well as virtual goods sales, and mobile ad network optimisation.

Meanwhile, Pinch Media provides analytics for developers, letting them measure and receive metrics like unique user tracking, key feature usage, demographic reporting, user retention and even application piracy.

The two platforms seem to fit together well. Plenty of developers are looking to include community features in their games, for example, although Tapjoy's rivals to provide this include Aurora Feint, Scoreloop, AGON Online and Gamespy.

"By partnering with an industry leader like Pinch Media we will more easily and quickly meet these needs by offering deep analytics capabilities in tandem with monetisation and audience growth services," says Tapjoy co-founder Lee Linden.

The new version of Tapjoy's SDK is available for free for developers from the company's website.
