Help with Homer's rin

I am useing homer's rin to play my gbc games. and there is a folder in it called cheats and i was wundering do i just drag the cheats over in a text folder to get the cheats to work.

There is a special cheat creator used for homers rin... im not exactly sure where you can get it, but its out there. I am a Mac OSX user, and the program is a exe extension (mac's do not run exe file extensions) so I can not use the software unfortunatly :(
