Sports Illustrated has released an iPhone app based on its latest Swimsuit Issue.
What's more, the company is describing it as the "World's Sexiest App", offering photos of 20 bikini-clad models, and a series of bodypainting videos. What's bodypainting in this context? Well, you'll know once you've watched the vids.
The app was created for Sports Illustrated by developer Azuki Systems, and is selling for $2.99 on the US App Store and £1.79 here in the UK.
It also includes a sports calendar enabling users to keep tabs on six American sports teams (while goggling at a different model for every month of the year.
Apple will be breathing a sigh of relief at the app's launch, as it can presumably trust Sports Illustrated not to sneakily update its app with topless shots, as some independent developers have tried to do with their bikini apps in recent weeks.
A BlackBerry version of the app will apparently follow next month.
