So, I feel the need to make an official Anime thread to rant about anime... So here it is.

All I have to say on the matter at the moment is "Endless Eight".

In all honesty, the only Anime I've watched in a long while, and enjoyed is The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Its just crazy enough that I enjoy it.

However, Endless Eight gets a bit repetitive after the 6th iteration....

I feel like watching Cowboy Bebop, myself.

I watched 'She, The Ultimate Weapon' the other week after seeing the set cheap in HMV. All I can say is it's "OK". Nowt amazing, too much wailing and crying for my liking, even though it is character driven. There's very little action. Maybe an acquired taste.

I've always found the Studio Ghibli stuff to be excellent and Evangelion gets a re-watch every couple of years.

I've not seen much of Cowboy Bebop but the movie is quality, excellent stuff.

I've watched:

Full Metal Alchemist
Knights of the Zodiac
Dragon ball
Some Evangelion
Some Cowboy Bebop

Currently watching Naruto Shippuden (at this rate It'll never end)

Also watching some Ecchi/Hentai series LOL, mostly cause they got psp games and I didn't knew about them: Ikkitousen, Kamen no Maid Guy, Queens Blade

Games are almost ok, but Queens blade looks promising (it has rpg elements)

BlueCrab, you should consider acquiring a animelist, it's a fairly easy way to keep track of all the anime you've watched, it's also helpful in discovering new anime as well.

Here's my list- http://myanimelist.net/animelist/ralphy0103

I finally got around to watching Neon Genesis Evangelion. It was probably one of the best anime's I've ever seen. The last couple of episodes were a bit poorly constructed/made I must say, but the movie End of Evangelion replaces those two anyways and finishes the series quite well. EOE was brilliant and had one of the most interesting endings I've ever seen in any medium. Asuka's last words stuck with me.

The acting was also really awesome and well done throughout (English dub). Here's hoping the last two Rebirth of Evangelion films come out fast. I can't wait to see them, but I want them to be all out and dubbed before I watch them. I'm not big into subtitled anime, particularly in action heavy features such as Eva.

Any other interesting series or movies you guys can recommend for me? I've watched a lot of movies but the shows I've watched have been limited to a few metaseries with only a handful of others (everything Gundam for example).

I like Monochrome Factor, but it's got some dangerously Yaoi overtones which kind of reflects oddly on the action of the series. Feels completely out of place some times. Funny though. (picture says it all to be honest).

Another good anime is the absolutely sublime Hellsing OVA's:

The animes I like to watch are Ikki tosen, FLCL, Vampire Knight, Hellsing, Trigun, KissXSis, Dragon Ball Z, Tenjo Tenge, and endless others that are unable to fit in this post. Also the Boondocks, yes it qualifies as an anime because the creator said it was.

I just wish there was more people to comment in this area that is devoted to anime. I mean it is impossible not to talk about anime. My Favorite top are in my opinion are Bleach, Death Note, and Shamarai Shamploo. My top 3 change ocationally at times.
