While KOF 95, 96 and 97 were received their home ports for the first PlayStation, the 2D power of the Saturn with the memory expansion cartridge showed PSX owners what they were missing. This week though, The King of Fighters Orochi Collection brings completely arcade perfect editions to your PS2, and what's more, includes online play too! First up KOF 95 had 25 fighters to choose from, expanded the air juggling system and counter attacks of the first title, and let you choose the members of your team. Then KOF 96 came in and was regarded by many as the pinnacle of the series, amongst other changes, adding a roll in and out system and upping the roaster to 27.

Then lastly KOF 97 boasts some 35 characters, gives you the option to toss out the old charge bar and use the Advance Gauge where the more moves you pull off the faster your bar fills, and includes a slew of other improvements. Slamming three fantastic 2D brawlers onto one disc, all arcade perfect and with online play, the Orochi Collection is one not to miss this week. Later on the 27th of this month too, there's King of Fighters Maximum Impact 2 to dig into, followed later this year by The King of Fighters XI on June 22nd.
