71M (http://tmpstore.free.fr/FileAssistant/viewtopic.php?t=289) posted a new release of the excellent FileAssistant++:

Hi guys,
Here's an experimental build of FA++ that (fingers crossed) should run on 2.0+ FW PSPs!
If successful, this will add SWF support for 2.0+ PSPs so no need to upgrade to FW 2.7 just yet!

I don't have anything other than a 1.5 PSP to test this on so I'm releasing it for you guys to test and give feedback.
Please leave any feedback in the Bugs forum.

I tried it on my 1.5 and flash loads to about 80%then freezes. Loading up to that point is extremely slow. Sometimes it shuts off but mostly just freezes. Hopefully theyll find a way to improve the flash player

No, the SWF player works with 7. I have noticed that ActionScript is a bit touchy though. For example, if I wanted a button with the instance name "play_btn" to go to fram 5 and play, i could either place thiis script on the frame with the button:

play_btn.onRelease = function () {
gotoAndPlay(5)
}

or I could put this script on the button:

on (release)
{
gotoAndPlay(5)
}

Both of those perform the same function on the PC, but the SWF Player only supports the second script-bit.

USB not working on 2.0 via tiff (must exit and use the menu USB feature...).

Also it crashes when we try to go to the credits, press select or try to exit.

These are not hard to solve I guess. And really thanks for this one... I was still with 0.04!

Hope to see them fixed soon :)

FA++ is the sickest homebrew ever made!!! I LOVE this app. I was hoping this was an update rather than a expansion to work with another FW. Did anyone ever get that damn flash player (by the same author) to work? I never could. Couldn't find where to really d/l any flash games.
