Want to help the scene out and also help GPF, well the porter of the hopefully soon to be released GBA emu for Dreamcast has posted this:[br][br]I will need to design a website for the GBA emulator release, and my website could definetly use a facelift though, so if anyone could help out, I want to incorporate what I have now with new html etc. [br] [br]Troy [br]http://storm-studios.net/GPF/ [br][br]Can you help, then leave a comment or even a design in this topic :)

ew... flash.
The alertbrasil one looks nice. Good, professional look. The top bgimage is a little off in my browser (when it gets to the end of the content, it shifts up a couple of pixels). and the menu bar looks a little out of place in my browser.
The tagview one looks nice, too, but once again - ew... flash.
That's nice work, though WaCkO. I'm just a staunch opponent to Flash, personally. I never have liked it.

thanks heh
Well, I like flash, nothing wrong with some motion. Sometimes we can get smaller files with flash and works perfect with most platforms. But that's a client choice, not mine. They just wan't an intro and a motion made in flash, so I do what I'm paid for Â*;)
edit: oh BTW, this AlertBrasil site is the old version. The new one (out by now) works fine with FireFox browser ( http://www.tagview.com.br/alertbrasil/ )

I know how that goes. A lot of people don't approve of javascript, either, but I like using it. Flash is just a personal pet peave I have.

That one looks much better. Nice work.
I appreciate the offers to help, look forward to seeing some examples.
Also everyone I will need a graphic for the splash loading screen 160X120 which will have the name of the emulator as soon as I pick one :)

that looks awesome WaCkO. It's somewhat similar to the idea I had in my mind. I don't know if I'll even bother. Depends on how froggy I feel this evening.

thanks
This design is kinda obvious, but I think it works fine. :)
wow thats pretty cool Wacko.
How would it incorporate the rest of my site, I want to have a main page listing all of the stuff I have for download and seperate pages for each program. Would each page be similaiir to your mockup?
Thanks

well GPF, I can make a generic one, without the GBA theme. Will be a similar design. And this GBA one will be for your emu only. Can you tell me what colors do you prefer for the main page? mmm... Yellow? ;D
I like the white background, I pretty much copied everything from 138's webpage on storm studios, except for the trampaliens page, which Szczepaniak
quickly threw together for me.
As you can see I am no aritist, I can copy and paste pretty good but thats about it when it comes to html.

For now, GPF, it's probably easier for WaCkO to copy and paste stuff into his template. If WaCkO uses SSI or IFrames to set it up, all you will need to do is start making plain html docs with nothing but text, and they can be "included" in the area that WaCkO set up for content. All of the other stuff can be put together by him (at least, that's the way I usually do it). Then that makes it really easy for you.

sure will be a frame. But I was thinking.... if he'll put all his stuff on it, cant be a GBA theme, so I'll do a generic one based on that. Buttons and top frame will change to a dreamcast theme. I think will be fine since he liked the white color. What do you think?

I think everything but the top banner area could stay (the bottom-half of the GBA). I realize that the left menu is part of a GBA, too, but I think it looks cool enough that it could stay there no matter what the page content is.
I like the swooping banner style - so you should try to find a way to keep that (if my opinion means anything to anybody). Everything else can probably stay exactly as it is.
