The Flower Garden is the centrepiece of the Arboretum and also one of the best flowerbeds in Nottingham.
The design this year was by Ian Cook and is a great red scheme using plants such as Coleus, Festuca, Begonia, Heuchera, Dahlia, Cinnerria Silver Dust, Verbascum, Millet, Banana Plants, Busy Lizzies, Salvias and Tradescantia amongst others.
The beds can take up to 18,000 plants and is mowed sometimes twice a week and maintained at least once every week.
