I was just wondering if anyone thought PSMonkey's website could use a bit of a change. I whipped up this quick image of a monkey (with signature colors) that I thought would be well suited for some sort of banner (as opposed to the not so attractive "PSP news" image).

Haha! I know mine is "sketchy" at best. I really just wanted to find out what all of your opinions were about a redesign. You all are pretty good at creating graphics I must admit, whereas I pretty much... suck.
glitch's banner looks awesome. It'd be really exciting if he did a website redesign. *hint hint

Ya, PSmonkey I think you should add that to your site.
I like jairolas's as well. I just think that the head of the monkey silhouette looks a little cube-ish. Maybe you intended that? It just seems a little "off" to me, I dunno.

that is one heck of a template. good work sniper and whoever posted on the last page... i didnt look at the name
No offense, but I think that layout looks a little too "busy". I like the way PSMonkey's site is very easy on the eyes. That layout just looks a little too flashy in my opinion.

Do you use Internet Explorer or something? It's all screwed up for me. It looks pretty cool though. To be critical, the only 2 things I don't like are the "dancing monkey" (don't know what the hell it is for) and the "psp news banner." I just think it needs to be kept a bit more simple.

which is way mine is a minimalistic style..... less is more... less is soo much more. Maybe if I say it enough times mine will look better

Animating mine in flash has crossed my mind, I'd have a windowblind effect for the PS part after the bold MONKEY spins into place and bounced very hard like up and down slightly for a second or two. Then have the 64 part zoom from small to big out of no where and have it zoom a little too much then back down into normal place. Once that is done then have the monkey had start coming up and have a chimp sound effect like from Donkey Kong snes intro with the chimp hand pointing at the name.
But yea that would take some time and I don't see it being on the front page ne ways :(
Well, after what Darksaviour69 said, I think we should just give it some time. I'd rather us not stress over the layout when he may have something far better in store. Either way, we all know what really matters and that's PSMonkey's work! The site is just an instrument to host it. It could look like DOS and I wouldn't really mind.
