Well since E3 is here again. As always the console wars are getting ready. So what will you choose? PS3,Xbox 360, and of course the Nintendo Wii. This is to help people who don't know what they want in a Game System. There are major things to consider...The Price,The Graphixs,And of course The Games. So what will you choose? What are the Positives? What are the Negatives? In choosing the console you think is the best.

I think the best combo is 360 and Wii, since together they'll likely cost around the same as the non-crippled PS3 ($600). However, I already have a XB360, I plan on getting a Wii, and I'll likely get a PS3 as well since I don't want to feel left out. That is, if I have the dough at the time. If not, I'll stick with my 360 (got it at launch) and get the Wii. Then wait for a PS3 price drop, or at least wait til I'm richer.

Well if you are the casual gamer and don't want to pay through the ass to get a next gen console lol. I suggest you get the Nintendo Wii. one the price is going to be cheaper and two the controls for the games is very innovative and original. But there are negatives to this to...The Nintendo Wii lacks in the Graphix department the Nintendo Wii Graphix is a little better than the Game cube but not much. while this is not a problem to some people and Nintendo puts more into the actual gaming expierence than the Graphix. Some will wonder why they have to pay more for graphix that is not much better than the Game cube. This is because your not paying for the graphix on the Wii but for the the creative style of play.

if you are a game play quality gamer- wii
if you are a game graphix gamer- 360
both- ps3

ps usualy the casual gamer isn't on this site hehe :p but i see what u mean

Now if your a hard core gamer and have alot of money to spend along with having the best Graphix and some innovative play (lol stolen from Nintendo, i'm talking about the controler for the PS3 is motion sensitive like the Wii.) i suggest the PS3 Blue ray is also included. There is one major disadvantage the PRICE of the PS3 it is $600 bucks US money. Now they did what Microsoft did and have one for $100 dollars less but comes with almost nothing. You lose more just buying what you need later. So if you are going to get the PS3 i suggest the $600 pack as it saves more by buying that. Than buying the stuff you need later. But other than the price the games are great and the console is great. Personaly i would suggest waiting a year for the bugs to be fixed and the price to be lowered.

Now if your a hard core gamer and truly want some great online play. Aloung with some great titles and Great Graphix. The Xbox 360 is for you. Cheaper than the PS3 and Graphix rivaling that of the PS3. But is still expensive at $400 dollars and they do have a $300 pack but as i said with the PS3 its not worth it. You will only end up paying more for it later. I also would suggest waiting for a year or until they get all the bugs fixed aloung with lowering the price. As Microsoft has a Tendency to release things before all of the bugs are fixed. If this is what you want than the Xbox 360 is for you.

Now if you are filthy rich. I would suggest getting all three as they are all great consoles and all have great titles. But if you do want all three i would suggest start saving your pennys. Because Game Systems these days don't come cheap. Well thats my review on all three big players in the console wars. If anybody would like to post their own reviews go ahead. Tell people why the console you pick is truly the best choice...

There is only one answer for me. Wii. There is absoutely 0 chance of me getting either of the others, but there is a good maybe 20-30% chance of me getting a Wii.

wii.. I think games should be about having fun. I also like the idea of it being kind of a party machine that anyone can pick up and play. it'll shut the relatives the hell up when they come to visit! but seriously I think its about time someone did somthing new for the gaming community!

for a system with such a terrible name.. it sure gets alot of support. :)

I think the Wii will have a strong support at first, but lose momentem as people see titles for 360 and PS3 coming out. I already own a 360 and might get a Wii. If developers are smart and use creativeness with the Wii controller, the system will suceed. If the developers make games that use the controller for the same purpose (sword fighting and related things,) then the system will have bland games. I hope Nintendo makes a controller that is more traditional for games that would work better with it. I also hope Nintendo drops this "virtual console" idea (try emulation, it's free and better.) I don't know why people are so worked up about the PS3. The games seem bland and the graphics are no better than 360. If the Wii costs like $250 it might make a good addition next to my 360.

The Wii is the one I will be getting and has been the only next gen console i really wanted but i already got an xbox 360 because my birthday came up and i could'nt think of anything else i wanted at the time.

PS3 is gonna a be so sh#t coz its got no originality and sony arent really thinking outside the box, i mean for one they still use the stupidly unoriginal name like PS3 and all there doing is putting in more new shiny graphics.

personally i am really not interested.

Wii really is going to be a revolution to us all.

I am a loyal and true nintendo fan.

I already own a 360 (got it at launch) and am planing on getting Wii at launch. I will never get a PS3 do to it's price (MORE THAN HALF A GRAND!), how much (from what has been shown at E3) it was overhyped and underdelivered (the graphics are not nearly that much better than the 360's as Sony was saying), and for ripping off the Wii's controller  .

500 bucks isn't that much. Canadians have been paying that for every new system for years. Only now does our high dollar allow us to pay about the same as you guys. Hell Australians have it much more worse then either of us.

I think Sony stole the show at there press conference. The controller was a massive win for Sony since now the PS3 contained properties from XBOX 360 and the WII. It will have a similar online network to Xbox live but it will be FREE. It has a motion sensor controller that doesn't limit its capabilites like the Wii. I think Sony won E3 before it even started. Again.

But I still got love for the Wii :)

Do you really think it will be free for long. Trust me sony isn't known for being nice to its consumer let alone as the company in my opinion is very greedy. But after all that i like sony's products but not there service. As for the price i'm saving up but by the time i have enough the price will drop lol.

Well its quite obviouse what i'm going to go for as the 1st console as eveyones fav.

Defenitly the Wii (Revolution) - Do to the fact you can play old console games on the system downloading via the net and Sega has decided to include past Genesis games to be playable on the Wii aswell. Well i wouldnt just buy Wii for that cause i could just buy all the systems its emulating and purchase the games but another good thing is these games might be free or atleast some of them. But the games on this system are going to be up most amazing.

Xbox 360 - I would choose this first cause i'm not the biggest fan of Sony. But seen as how computer gaming is pretty good at visuals and knowing whats best for computer gaming Xbox 360 is just right for you TV. Only it needs a nice keyboard and mouse and games like Command and Conquer. Other then that all other games are pretty much near PC perfect and is i believe a great price then having to pay close to $1000 cdn on a pc just to play games.

PS3 - Last but not least not my favourite company and with them just showing there new Bios Interface Screen looking exactly like the PSP i found they got really lazy. This was just another way of getting the system out earlier. I truly think the system out of all Sony systems will have very bad faults and may end up over heating more then the Xbox 360. Blue Ray kind of pisses me off a little i mean we just come out with making althese HD TVs with 1080i resolution and now we have to go higher and ditch our DVD-HD's for BlueRay.

Which means it might over sell HD TV's with the revolution of 1080i and DVD players with HD Compatibility. All and all Sony is big waste of money of course i will be buying the system but not for its bad hardware and poorly made System i will be buying purely for gaming.

I think the service will be free for its whole exitence. With the small possibility of a premium service which would cost a small monthly fee. As for you accusing Sony as being "more greedy" check out my response (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=118643&postcount=18) on the other thread we are arguing on.

Many people are forgetting that instead of a 60gb ps3 you can get a 20gb ps3 for 500 dollars , and still I will get it cheaper than that , sony manufacturing company of China on ebay will sell them at around 375 bucks for the 20gb one and 440 for the 60 gb. I'll buy me a 20gb , cause who needs 60gbs anyways? only a guy who will store his whole library of movies on it ( getting the movies on limewire I suppose ) , and the reason I'm getting the ps3 is not for the games but for blu-ray dvd player and internet like the psp , ( only this one will be as fast as a computer , pre-installed linux and enough cache size , and I'm getting the wi-fi thumbmaster usb or something like that , only costs 40 dollars and I put it on my cable box and wi-fi on my house ).

And another thing is that if you check on sony's ps3 information

http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?board.id=ps3&message.id=241683

The 2 ones will have everything except that the 600 dollars one will have 40 more gb and some stupid accesories similar to the psp's value pack ( like the crappy cleaning cloths and strap and that shit but things for the ps3 ).

you seem to overlook the fact that the 20gb model doesn't have hdmi output so the movies will cease to work

PS3 Definitly!
You guys should watch the previews at ps3.ign.com (especially the getaway and killzone)!
It's a monster!
600 bucks is really too much I agree, I would wait a while before getting it.
But I go for graphics all the way.
