Just a tip. News posts should have little to no smileys. It looks better on the front page that way.

very misleading headline

Yeah I hope people can forgive me,
However thats exactly what this little peice of homebrew is called so I cant very well call it somthing else:(

I think it should have been called tetris flash or somthing. But I mean its disrespectful to its creator to call it somthing different:cool:

Eh...did you just put that title just to get people's attention? Cuz you could've put just PSP Tetris and it would still be the same thing. Kinda weak.

May 13th, 2006, 18:00
Believe me that would be a cruel joke on my part if I made up a title like that just to get peoples attention, It would be a cold cold lie that would probibly get me de moded ;)
This was actuely the way it was worded on its offical release notes :(

that means that when your in the web browser, you just type in the file location on your mem stick
(file:/tetris.swf) you don't need an internet connection.
the reason why you need the web browser is because the flash player is integrated into it...

ps: u extract it to the root of your mem stick (the first box you see when you open the drive) btw, the root of the mem stick is where the folders "MP_ROOT" and "PSP" should be

You need to download flash Mx. 30 day free trial or buy it. get it from the downloads section at www.albinoblacksheep.com
also you can save flash files anywhere on your psp. just remember it and type it into your browser and bookmark it. Remember that all flash files must end in .swf. For flash games it is only possible in PSP 2.7 with the X button (mouse click) and arrow keys. you cannot reassign the buttons so if there is a flash game which requires you to right click or use the space bar or any letter or number, you are out of luck. For example if you save the dizzy game to your psp save it file:/psp/common/dizzy.swf or [anywhere else]/dizzy.swf any more questions?

to speed it up press triangle go to tools settings cache settings and set it to do not use. that way the game will run faster. also close all other tabs by pressing square + R then going to file and close page then repeat one more time then press square + R and you should be at your game window.

i think its great that people are making flash "homebrew" for people who have 2.7

Actually alot are just existent(dont really know how to spell it) flash games which have been tested by users. Because some games are hell laggy on the PSP. There's a guy over at PSP-vault who has a sorta like flash games pack which he uploaded and it has over 35mb+ of flash games or 148 games. Now i wont get bored at all.

Well basically yes. I dont make them. I just download and play them. Credits go to their original creators.

put them anywhere and then direct your browser to it using the file:/ command.

I find it's easier to just dump them at the root level of the memory stick that way you only have to put something like "file:/tetris.swf" to run a flash app.

The trick is finding flash apps that have the right keys mapped to them + run well under 2.7

Well, I think the title was appropriate, since flash is only supported by 2.7 firmware. Right?

What exactly is the root of my memory card? casue there is a lot of folders.

Video_freak
August 12th, 2006, 18:49
the root of the memory card is the first window you see when you open your drive on your computer. you should see PSP and MP_ROOT when your in the root of your mem stick.

August 12th, 2006, 18:55
